About Me and this site

A not so common view of GSIS building.

It was my initial plan to create a travel website where I can post photos and itineraries, and blogs which can be used by other people in planning their trips. However, I realized I can not fulfill this due to two major shortcomings on my part. First, I dont travel much, and second, I don’t have that much budget.

With my limitations, I’ll just share with you my cheaper alternative – walking. It’s relaxing, it’s a good for your heart, and doesn't require technical skills. What I like most is that with slower pace, it allows me to see and appreciate things that I don't usually notice. Best part, it’s inexpensive - all you need is a good comfortable pair of shoes and you’re ready to go.

This site will contain some trips that I had. Usually, I search the internet and decide on areas to explore. I list down possible places that I can visit such as: art, culture and architecture, history, nature and outdoor experiences, and any other thing that may offer unique experience. After reaching a location, I usually go around on foot, just asking for directions when needed. I don't usually dine in a fancy restaurant but eat where the locals do to be able to experience their delicacy.

I do like to be spontaneous so most of the activities cited here are unplanned and relatively disorganized. For more serious and techinical adventures, I will leave it to the experts. I'll just provide options and recommendations on the activities that I have done in the area.
